Menton is located just before the Italian border and is an internationally- renowned resort town known for its mild climate, its Lemon Festival, and its exotic gardens. Students are responsible for making their own housing arrangements and for all housing costs. Housing options on many of the regional campuses is more readily available than in Paris and each campus is able to provide students with resources for locating housing through Sciences Po. Additionally, the SIS Office of International Programs may be able to connect students with past program participants who are willing to provide information about housing. Once admitted to the Program, students are issued a letter of acceptance by Sciences Po. Students use this document to apply for their student visa at the nearest French embassy or consulate. Topics covered include administrative, logistical, security, and cross- cultural issues. Sciences Po holds a one- to two- week Welcome Program for international students at the beginning of each semester. AU students are strongly encouraged to participate, as it is designed to facilitate adjustment to the Sciences Po academic methodology and life in Paris. How to Apply. Complete and submit the Sciences Po application to the SIS Office of International Programs (OIP) by the specified deadline for the semester in which you intend to study abroad. Students may not apply directly to Sciences Po. After all applications are received and reviewed, students will then be notified by e- mail from OIP with a decision regarding their nomination for study abroad. Once nominated, you will be instructed to complete Sciences Po online application which requires that the following information be uploaded: CV or R.
